Dream Journal: 2012-08-20.02

Anon worried: ““They took notice I shed a tear (or five) for kir, but said nothing.” Uh. You didn’t happen to notice what happened to those tears did you? Leaving behind any part of yourself with the Fae can be dangerous.”

I cried five tears. The first two I wiped away with my cloak at once. I thought I had stopped crying, until I felt the third drop from my cheek. I heard that one hit the ground. One of the Little Folk put kir hand on my arm, and was graced by the fourth tear. I think the fifth fell onto my clothes. I was standing up and the sound muffled where it hit.

Yes, there is a lot more detail that I remember. I just didn’t write up a full post because the details would have suffocated the plot.

I would like to hope there is a peace bond between me and the Little Folk. Would I dare cry so openly with any others? Most likely not. But they had asked (okay, pulled) me to help them. To be so inhospitable to invited help would be quite rude, and just as dangerous to them as it is to me.
