Still thinking about that hexagon dream and why it was so familiar. Realized I had done a tarot reading for a (Hermetic) friend based on that placement. Dug out the notes about it and noted which planet went were.
In the reading I did, Sol was at the center, Saturn was at the peak, and Mars was to the [reader’s] left of Saturn. (Of course, I did not write down the formal name of that diagram. Silly me.) It’s the planetary hexagram. (Clockwise from the peak, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Moon, Mercury, Mars. Sol in the center.)
In the dream, Mars was in its proper place, but Saturn kept superimposing on it. There was also a sense of flow from Mars’ station to Saturn’s proper station, but it had only begun and didn’t have enough inertia (potential power?) built up to make it across once released.
So I’m going to throw a massive temper tantrum now, because of the implication that I should travel the path of Cheth (from Geburah to Binah), which involves dealing with the Abyss. And after the soul flaying I submitted to on the path of Vau, I’m not too eager to upend my apple cart so soon after pulling my head out of my ass.
I only know enough words to fool the naive and the ignorant. I am no where near Hermetic enough for this shit!
