Alright guys. I’m probably stirring up shit with this, but it was something I had quickly “seen” and now it won’t leave me. I tried writing this into my private notes, but no, it demands to be written into the publicized notes.
Very well then.
I throw chum into the water…
Table in middle of room. One black cloth. One bare mirror face up on cloth. One sigil drawn on a small piece of paper and laid face down on the mirror. One small candle with the target’s name carved around the top circumference of the candle. One darkened room.
There is only one person in the room, and the practitioner is remaining completely silent.
The candle is lit.
The candle is allowed to burn until the portion that held the target’s name has been consumed by the flame, or allowed to run down the candle onto the paper beneath it. Once that portion is obliterated, the flame is extinguished.
Nothing is moved until the candle wax is room temperature.
The candle is carefully removed from the paper, but all wax that had ran down and hardened on the paper is removed from the candle body itself. The rest of the candle is put away for some other use later. The pooled wax and paper are set aside. The mirror is wrapped in the black cloth and set aside.
A trivet is placed on the table as a heat insulator. A metal bowl is set on top of the trivet. Flammable accelerants are placed into the bowl, along with the wax and paper. The bowl contents are set on fire. The practitioner (still remaining silent) remains at the bowl until the wax and paper are completely consumed. The fire is extinguished, and normal cleanup begins once the bowl is safe to touch.
The mirror, however, remains wrapped in the black cloth until the spell has done its work. However, if the practitioner wishes to halt the spell’s effects prematurely, the mirror must be shattered while still wrapped in the black cloth. To unwrap it before shattering is to bring the spell’s effects upon the person that looks into the mirror. If the spell’s effects proceed as planned and ends as desired, the practitioner can unwrap the mirror, cleanse it, and use it for other workings.
Okay. Which one of y’all wanted to know how to start shit? Why does this feel like it could be a protective working as well as an offensive working? The bowl on the table is too much a fire hazard for me. Since the objective is to destroy the pooled wax and paper by fire, couldn’t an outside grill work just as well? A fireplace?
The lack of verbalization is intentional. Words would only weaken the working. Why? I dunno. This wasn’t meant for me to try, if you know what I mean.
Updates. I would like to have them. If you’re given liberty to, that is.
